Who: Geraint Parry
What: Scientists from Cardiff University are leading a range of exciting events for ‘Fascination of Plant Day’ which will be celebrated alongside our Orchid Day at Dyffryn.
You will be able to:
– Put on a lab coat to extract DNA from strawberries
– Do your detective work in an exciting Plant Treasure Hunt
– Use your nose to investigate some Plant smelly boxes
– Get creative to ‘Design a new Plant.
Day: Saturday 20th May 2017
When: 2pm. We’re not sure there will be WiFi at the site so we might have to record and upload the content afterward. Therefore it might not be ‘Live’.
